Our heating and cooling Recovery Pillow is designed to replace the conventional heating pad and cold pack. These large and flexible 14x20 inch rice packs easily drape, contour and wrap around your body to provide hot or cold therapeutic relief to all areas of your body including heat, neck, shoulder, back, knees, wrists, ankles, and legs. Our five channel design keeps the rice evenly distrubted throughout the bag to allow for ultimate comfort and usability. Made with California-grown whole grain rice and the finest English Lavender from local Bonny Doon Farm. We use only 100% cotton fabric by Robert Kaufman from Los Angeles, California. Also available unscented.
Heat or cool the Recovery Pillow and place around your body and let the deep heat warm your body fast relieving your tension, or let the cool reduce your temperature and swelling, while the aromatic lavender soothes and relaxes. They also allow you to directly heat or cool your body, not the environment, and save on energy costs.
Hot or Cold: the same Recovery Pillow rice pack can be used hot or cold interchangeably.
Heating Instructions: Heat in the microwave for 1-3 minutes (depending on microwave strength). Heat in the oven for 7-9 minutes at 375 degrees. Stays warm for 30 minutes or more depending on ambient temperature.
Cooling Instructions: Seal the pillow in a ziplock bag and place in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. When ready, remove the pillow from the plastic bag and apply directly to your body. Stays cold for 30 minutes or more depending on ambient temperature.
100% Recycable! The Ultimate Green Eco-Friendly Product.
When you've reached the lifespan of your Recovery Pillow, simply cut open the fabric bottom and place the rice contents in the compost or Green Bin. The 100% cotton fabric will decompose when disposed of in your normal trash bin. And the ziplock bag itself is reusable and recyclable. Feel good about purchasing or gifting a Recovery Pillow because it is 100% recyclable and the carbon foot print use to hand make this product is minimal, especially when compared to the electric heating pad. In fact, our goal is to replace the plastic, wired heating pad that is made in China with our Recovery Pillow. In a small way, we help to bring manufacturing back to the USA by creating home-based jobs here in Santa Cruz County.
