2025 Hummingbirds Calendar

16-Month 2025 Calendar. Images by local photographer Michael Santa Cruz. Hummingbirds are one of nature's most beautiful birds. I fell in love with hummingbirds and began photographing them in my garden in Santa Cruz, California where I cultivate plants that attract them. Since most of the 300 plus species of hummingbirds live within five degrees of the equator, I make trips to Ecuador and Costa Rica to photograph other species. I try to capture each hummingbird sipping nectar from a local flower. It is my joy to share the beauty of these amazing flying jewels with you.
