After moving to California, she took her first watercolor class and began a lifelong passion with the medium.
Nature is her inspiration, and especially the play of light on the landscape or subject matter. Most of her paintings are realized in plain air.
Marie’s work is internationally recognized and collected.
She lives in Santa Cruz, California with her family, and as much as possible, in Provence, France.

I received one of the lovely note cards showing the beach at Santa Cruz from a friend. I took the information from the back of the card and ordered several for myself. (artist - Marie Gabrielle) one card was out of stock so I immediately received a call from the store to select a new one that was available. The cards arrived very quickly. All are very pretty and I was excited to find this store online since most retail places are closed. I will definitely purchase more.
